Overview
The IT Project Manager will oversee the execution of multiple IT projects within a luxury vehicle manufacturing environment. This role involves planning, coordinating, and managing project teams and milestones to ensure the successful delivery of engineering software solutions used in manufacturing and design, while engaging with stakeholders throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver multiple IT projects simultaneously.
- Build project plans, budgets, schedules, and resource requirements.
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change throughout the project lifecycle.
- Track spend and ensure benefits remain on target.
- Run steering committees, report progress, and keep stakeholders engaged.
- Ensure smooth project closure, lessons learned, and handover processes.
- Govern software products and ensure adherence to project standards.
Requirements
- PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
- Proven experience delivering IT projects end-to-end using waterfall project management.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Confidence in managing budgets up to £500k.
- Awareness of ITIL frameworks.
- Ability to plan, prioritise, and make decisions quickly.
- Experience with ERP systems and CAD/CAM design to print.
