Overview
The IT Project Manager for factory systems will lead and oversee infrastructure IT projects at a luxury vehicle manufacturer, ensuring effective planning, coordination, and execution of project milestones. This role will involve managing project teams and reporting while utilizing Prince2 methodologies, supported by an understanding of ITIL principles and diverse technical infrastructures, such as servers and telecom systems. The position offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, with a contract potentially extending until December 2026.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate project execution including milestone management.
- Steer project teams and oversee resource allocation effectively.
- Ensure successful delivery of infrastructure IT projects from initiation to implementation.
- Utilize project management methodologies (Prince2 and Waterfall) in project planning.
- Report on project progress and implement necessary adjustments to keep on track.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align project objectives with business goals.
- Maintain awareness of ITIL principles in project execution.
Requirements
- Prince2 accreditation with demonstrable project management experience.
- Experience managing infrastructure IT projects including network communications, servers, and telecoms.
- Solid understanding of project life cycles and successful project delivery.
- Familiarity with ITIL principles and frameworks.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project.
