Overview
The ITIL Change Manager will play a pivotal role in a large-scale government programme, focusing on the development and implementation of a new organisation-wide support model for managing and utilizing data. Collaborating closely with various stakeholders, the contractor will leverage their extensive experience in IT change programmes to ensure effective governance, processes, and tool integration in a dynamic agile delivery environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee change initiatives to ensure alignment with ITIL and service design principles.
- Facilitate workshops and co-design activities to engage stakeholders in the transformation process.
- Develop and implement new processes and governance structures for enhanced data management.
- Assess the impact of changes and evaluate the benefits of new services and products.
- Lead the design of organisational models that incorporate multiple stakeholders and suppliers.
- Create and contribute to business cases for new public-sector services.
- Ensure compliance with Government Digital Service Standards throughout the project.
Requirements
- Proven experience in change management within technical programmes, particularly in a government setting.
- Extensive knowledge of ITIL, Operating Model, and Service Design frameworks.
- Experience in agile delivery environments and structured methodologies like Prosci ADKAR and MSP/PRINCE2 Agile.
- Strong understanding of service transition, organisational change, and benefits realization methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate governance forums and stakeholder workshops.
- Track record of successful delivery in complex, multi-organisation change programmes.
