Overview
We are seeking experienced Java Software Engineers to take on contract roles with a focus on developing and supporting enterprise-scale applications for a prominent Banking client. The successful candidates will work closely with Agile teams to deliver secure and high-performance systems, utilizing technologies such as Java, Kafka, and microservices. This position requires a collaborative approach and offers the chance to work on impactful financial projects.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise-scale applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Implement microservices architecture and manage APIs.
- Utilize Apache Kafka for handling data streaming.
- Support and enhance existing applications within Agile teams.
- Ensure application security and system resilience.
- Contribute to CI/CD processes and Agile development methodologies.

Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Java development, specifically Java 8+.
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
- Experience with Apache Kafka for data handling.
- Proficiency in microservices architecture and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with databases such as Oracle and MySQL.
- Understanding of multi-threading and design patterns.
- Experience in CI/CD and Agile development environments.
