Overview
The contractor will engage in a critical role focusing on the migration of legacy systems, specifically transitioning from a COBOL mainframe to more modern platforms using Java. Responsibilities
- Lead the migration of legacy COBOL systems to modern Java-based frameworks.

- Provide expertise in both old and new versions of Java as required.
- Ensure that all solutions meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues arising during migration.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Java development, particularly in legacy migration scenarios.
- Strong background in COBOL and mainframe systems.
- Familiarity with Rocket Software and its applications for system migration.
- Previous involvement in modernization projects, specifically from Jarvis and COBOL systems.
- Ability to start immediately or within a short notice period (1 week).
