Javascript Developer

Overview

We are seeking a talented Senior JavaScript Engineer with a strong background in machine learning and personalisation to contribute to a greenfield project for a leading ecommerce client. This contractor will play a crucial role in an agile team, working collaboratively to develop systems and improve product efficiencies while mentoring junior team members. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining remote work with one day a week in the Central London office.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of an agile team to plan and develop innovative systems and platforms.
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and business analysts to define effective solutions and workflows.
• Review code and provide mentorship and support to team members.
• Design and build Node.js/GraphQL APIs.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in modern JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Strong experience with Azure services, including SQS.
• Experience with machine learning, Python, and SQL.
• Familiarity with personalisation or recommendation systems is a plus.
