Overview
The Javascript Developer will join a rapidly scaling technology business for an initial 3-month contract with potential for extension. Working with a talented team of developers, the role will involve a mix of front-end and back-end development using Typescript, React, Node.js, AWS, and MySQL, with a strong emphasis on back-end tasks. The position requires three days in the office each week, with two days working remotely.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using Javascript frameworks and technologies.
- Collaborate with team members on back-end and front-end development tasks.
- Implement solutions using Typescript, React, Node.js, AWS, and MySQL.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to enhance performance and user experience.
- Ensure compliance with project timelines and deliver high-quality code.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Javascript Developer with a solid understanding of Typescript, React, Node.js, AWS, and MySQL.
- Strong knowledge of software development best practices and methodologies.
- Experience with both front-end and back-end development processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Familiarity with agile development practices.
- Must be based within a commutable distance to Bristol for on-site work.
