Overview
We are seeking an experienced JavaScript Engineer to join a leading Ecommerce client for a 6-month contract focused on delivering a greenfield project. The successful candidate will work within an agile team, collaborating closely with engineers, product owners, and business analysts to develop innovative solutions that enhance product efficiency and personalization. The role will also involve mentoring team members and designing robust APIs using Node.js and GraphQL.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance systems and platforms in a collaborative agile environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions.
- Review code and provide mentorship to team members.
- Design and build APIs using Node.js and GraphQL.
- Utilize Azure for cloud-based solutions and data management.
- Implement machine learning algorithms to improve personalization features.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior JavaScript Engineer with expertise in modern JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- Strong knowledge of Azure services, including SQS.
- Experience in machine learning, Python, and SQL within data science applications.
- Familiarity with personalization and recommendation systems is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid role, balancing both onsite and remote responsibilities.
