Overview
The Junior Delivery Manager will play a key role in overseeing the execution of digital projects for a well-known global brand within the eCommerce and Quick Service Restaurant sectors. This position requires collaboration with diverse teams across Canada and Europe to ensure the successful delivery of web and mobile app initiatives, translating product strategies into tangible results. The ideal candidate will manage planning, execution, and coordination to enhance delivery quality and predictability.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all market requests, bugs, and technical needs are captured and managed effectively.
- Lead capacity planning efforts to balance priorities across teams in Canada and Europe.
- Proactively identify and resolve risks and dependencies during the day-to-day delivery execution.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and drive accountability within the teams to enhance delivery discipline.
- Coordinate knowledge transfer and track delivery metrics post-launch to improve operational excellence.
- Advocate for realistic project commitments based on team capacity and complexity.
- Establish and maintain effective planning boards and delivery artifacts throughout project lifecycle.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in Delivery Management, Program Management, or Scrum Master roles.
- Proven experience leading Agile/Scrum delivery in digital product environments, specifically web and app.
- Strong expertise in PI Planning and scaled Agile frameworks.
- Demonstrated success in managing cross-team dependencies and global stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication skills are essential for collaboration and negotiation.
- Experience in eCommerce or fast casual/QSR environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, JPD, and Confluence is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on using metrics to drive improvements in delivery outcomes.
