Overview
The Junior DevOps Engineer will play a vital role in enhancing DevOps processes for a 12-month contract, focusing on areas such as monitoring, automation, and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) within AWS cloud environments. Working in a hybrid model, the contractor will collaborate closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain monitoring and observability solutions.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
- Support AWS cloud environments, including ECS.
- Collaborate with development teams to facilitate smooth integration and delivery.
Requirements
- Familiarity with AWS services, particularly ECS.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
- Ansible experience is a plus.
