Overview
We are seeking a proactive Junior Product Owner to join a leading professional services organization within their Digital and Technology Solutions team. In this role, you will take ownership of critical Audit and Business Operations Support applications, working to enhance system functionality, drive efficiency, and ensure alignment with business needs while collaborating closely with stakeholders and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Take accountability for the day-to-day management and continuous optimisation of Audit and BOS applications.
- Proactively identify inefficiencies and opportunities to enhance system functionality and user experience.
- Manage and prioritise a pipeline of business requests, issues, and enhancements with clear ownership and visibility.
- Collaborate closely with external vendors to resolve issues and influence product development and delivery.
- Oversee user access, onboarding, and governance processes to ensure robust control and compliance.
- Stay ahead of product updates and new features, driving adoption where beneficial to the business.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing clarity on priorities, progress, and outcomes.
Requirements
- Strong experience as a Product Owner or similar role managing business-critical applications.
- Highly organised with excellent planning and prioritisation skills.
- Naturally curious mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and problem-solving.
- Proven stakeholder management skills across business, technology teams, and third-party vendors.
- Experience in vendor management, holding suppliers accountable for service delivery.
- Knowledge of user access management, governance, and system controls.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
