Overview
The Lead Data Analyst will be responsible for driving automated reporting processes and establishing a unified reporting framework for reconciliation, transaction, and performance data. This hands-on leadership position involves overseeing a multi-disciplinary data team while actively engaging in the design and build of reporting solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to define key performance indicators and ensure the accuracy and governance of the reports.
Responsibilities
- Drive the implementation of automated reporting processes.
- Consolidate disparate data sources into a unified reporting framework.
- Design and build Power BI dashboards for visual reporting.
- Oversee daily reconciliation reporting to ensure data accuracy.
- Surface data issues through exception reporting for business action.
- Align KPI dashboards with business objectives to enable performance tracking.
- Conduct variance analysis against expected performance metrics.
- Engage with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective reporting solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering BI and reporting solutions in a data-heavy commercial environment.
- Strong technical proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and DAX.
- Experience in consolidating multiple data sources into cohesive reporting frameworks.
- Ability to lead a small, multi-disciplinary data team.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills for translating business needs into reporting solutions.
- Experience in data governance, reconciliation, or financial/transactional reporting is desirable.
