Overview
As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and implementing end-to-end Teamcenter DevOps pipelines within a multi-disciplined team specializing in aerospace and defense systems. Collaborating closely with team members, you will utilize innovative technologies and industry-standard practices to deliver customized solutions for customers. This role requires candidates to possess a strong understanding of DevOps concepts, relevant tools, and software architecture.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end-to-end Teamcenter DevOps pipelines.
- Deploy customized customer-specific solutions to Teamcenter systems.
- Utilize DevOps pipeline orchestration tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or Azure DevOps.
- Apply general software architecture principles and standards in design.
- Work with modern containerization technologies, particularly Docker.
- Employ automated execution of DevOps tools and command-line utilities.
- Script and program using Python or Ansible for effective DevOps processes.
- Ensure compliance with security and software architecture standards.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of DevOps concepts and core components used in pipelines.
- Experience with DevOps orchestration tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or Azure DevOps.
- Solid background in software architecture and design patterns.
- Familiarity with Teamcenter software landscape and architectures.
- Proficiency with containerization technologies, especially Docker.
- Experience with DevOps tools like Nexus, JFrog, Maven, and ANT.
- Excellent scripting skills with modern languages, preferably Python or Ansible.
- Eligibility for SC security clearance and British nationality with UK residency for 5+ years.
