Overview
As a Lead IT Enterprise Architect, you will spearhead the enterprise architecture strategy for a significant OSS/BSS transformation programme within a major UK telecommunications organization. Collaborating closely with the Global Systems Integrator delivery team and providing expert guidance to senior stakeholders, you will ensure the alignment of technological solutions with strategic business objectives, all while managing vendor relationships and architectural risks.
Responsibilities
- Define and govern the end-to-end enterprise architecture across the OSS/BSS landscape.
- Establish architecture principles, standards, and governance frameworks.
- Identify and manage architectural risks, technical debt, and integration dependencies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on architectural decisions.
- Provide independent architectural leadership to balance customer strategy and vendor delivery.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Enterprise Architecture within the telecommunications sector.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of OSS/BSS domains, including Billing, CRM, and Order Management.
- Proven experience managing relationships across multiple vendors and delivery partners.
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategic objectives with programme delivery constraints.
