Overview
We are looking for a knowledgeable Lead Mobile Engineer to guide our mobile application initiatives for clients. This role involves leading a dedicated team, collaborating closely with cross-functional partners, and proposing innovative technical architectures for mobile projects. The Lead Mobile Engineer will play a pivotal role in shaping mobile strategies, ensuring project delivery, and fostering a high-performing engineering team, while remaining aware of market trends and emerging technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of mobile engineers and collaborate with product and design teams to deliver high-quality mobile applications.
- Propose and implement innovative technical architectures for new and existing mobile apps.
- Oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of mobile applications ensuring best practices in coding and performance.
- Champion agile methodologies to ensure timely delivery of project milestones and quality products.
- Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders to help them make informed decisions.
- Mentor and build a high-performing mobile engineering team, driving coding and architectural best practices.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform future mobile strategies.
- Collaborate with backend and web teams to ensure seamless integration and user experience across platforms.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in mobile engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in native iOS (Swift) and/or Android (Kotlin) development.
- Experience with React Native, Flutter, or similar cross-platform frameworks is preferred.
- Proven experience delivering complex mobile apps with extensive user bases.
- Deep understanding of mobile architecture and design patterns.
- Excellent communication skills in English and strategic thinking ability.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and app store release management is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI tools and performance tuning in mobile applications.
