Our client is one of the UK’s fastest-growing beauty scale-ups. Backed by significant funding, they dominate the UK market and have recently launched in the US. They are building out a brand-new division from scratch and need immediate, hands-on Lead Engineers with both strong technical skills and proven people leadership experience. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of complex software systems Set coding standards and champion best practices across the team Collaborate on product strategy and translate business needs into technical solutions Mentor and support engineers through code reviews, pairing, and career development Own delivery timelines and ensure high-quality releases Evaluate and introduce new technologies to improve performance and developer experience Requirements: 7+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role Deep expertise in modern backend and frontend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, React, TypeScript) Strong understanding of system architecture, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), and CI/CD pipelines Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and communicate effectively across disciplines A passion for mentoring, clean code, and continuous improvement Bonus: Experience with microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), or data-intensive applications With Myn, you gain a trusted partner dedicated to helping experienced data professionals excel in their careers, connecting you with forward-thinking employers and impactful projects.
