Overview

The Legal Entity Programme Manager will oversee a crucial project aimed at consolidating a large number of legal entities within a UK-based insurance brokerage. Collaborating closely with executive leadership and consultancy partners, this role will focus on managing the programme's roadmap and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements amidst a significant organisational transformation following recent acquisitions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end legal entity rationalisation programme.
  • Develop and manage the programme roadmap, governance, and delivery plan.
  • Coordinate multiple workstreams including Legal, Finance, Tax, Risk, Compliance, and Operations.
  • Work closely with external consultancy partners and executive stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
  • Prepare and present programme updates, risks, and recommendations to the Board and Steering Committee.
  • Drive decision-making across complex organisational and regulatory challenges.
  • Ensure all legal entity closures are delivered in line with regulatory, financial, and operational requirements.
  • Manage programme risks, dependencies, and critical milestones.

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering Legal Entity Rationalisation (LER) or legal entity simplification programmes.
  • Strong background leading complex business transformation initiatives within regulated environments.
  • Experience working with executive leadership, including CFOs, CLOs, and Board members.
  • Excellent programme governance, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Experience within insurance, financial services, or other regulated sectors is highly desirable.
  • Ability to navigate complex organisational structures, particularly those shaped by mergers and acquisitions.
