M365 Engineer

Overview

The M365 Engineer contractor will play a pivotal role in supporting a fast-growing Microsoft cloud specialist by translating detailed findings from M365 tenant audits into actionable recommendations for customers, particularly within the NHS sector. This role requires strong M365 administrative experience and the ability to engage directly with clients, fostering relationships while guiding them in optimizing their cloud services. The engineer will work remotely, collaborating with customers to enhance their M365 environments.

Responsibilities

• Review detailed findings and recommendations from M365 tenant audits.
• Assist customers in prioritizing actions to secure and optimize their tenants.
• Advise on M365 licensing optimization and best practices.
• Support readiness efforts for Copilot deployment and resolve oversharing issues.
• Engage with customers directly to foster relationships and facilitate solutions.
• Translate technical findings into clear, prioritized recommendations.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with M365 administration.
• Experience with auditing and understanding M365 environments, including licensing and security.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact directly with customers.
• Previous experience in the NHS or public sector preferred.
• Comfortable working flexibly and remotely, with occasional travel as necessary.
• Familiarity with tools such as SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Azure AD, and Power Platform.
