Overview
We are seeking an experienced Magento Developer to join a remote contract position with a leading Adobe Commerce agency in the UK, focusing on high-performance eCommerce solutions. The contractor will work alongside Technical Leads, Solution Architects, and Frontend Developers to deliver scalable backend solutions while supporting a diverse range of projects, including new builds and optimisations.
Responsibilities
- Build and customise Adobe Commerce / Magento 2 solutions.
- Develop bespoke modules and integrations.
- Work across complex backend architecture and API integrations.
- Support performance optimisation and platform scalability.
- Collaborate within agile delivery teams.
- Contribute to technical solution design and best practices.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with Adobe Commerce / Magento 2.
- Backend-focused engineering experience preferred.
- Experience working within agency or consultancy environments.
- Comfortable working directly with stakeholders and technical teams.
- Based in the UK and able to work remotely within UK time zones.
