Overview
The Contract Reliability Engineer will be responsible for enhancing asset performance and minimizing downtime at a dynamic manufacturing site. This role involves collaborating with engineering and operations teams to implement maintenance best practices and improve overall reliability strategies. The engineer will analyze data and trends to support continuous improvements within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement reliability-centred maintenance strategies.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA, FMEA, 5 Whys) on equipment failures.
- Analyze CMMS data, downtime trends, and KPIs.
- Improve preventative and predictive maintenance plans.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and reduce reactive maintenance.
- Work closely with engineering and operations teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a reliability or maintenance engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of CMMS systems (SAP, Maximo, or similar).
- Experience with root cause analysis (RCA), FMEA, and reliability tools.
- Background in manufacturing or industrial environments.
