Overview
We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to lead infrastructure and complex engineering projects in the South of the UK. This role involves working closely with senior leadership and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects from design through to handover, while maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of multiple infrastructure and engineering projects.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Act as the primary client contact and Contractor's Representative.
- Manage project programmes, risks, opportunities, and resources.
- Oversee procurement activities and subcontractor management.
- Monitor commercial performance, project cashflow, and reporting.
- Drive a strong health, safety, and environmental culture across all sites.
- Contribute to tendering and pre-construction activities where required.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years' experience in a Contracts Manager or senior project delivery role.
- Proven track record delivering infrastructure, utilities, industrial, energy, civil engineering, or other complex projects.
- Strong understanding of construction health and safety regulations and best practice.
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and multiple workstreams.
- Strong commercial and contractual management skills.
- Proficiency with project planning software such as Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
