Overview
The M&A Project Manager will be responsible for leading the technology integration of a recently acquired business, focusing on aligning systems, data, and processes with the core technology landscape. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders including business and technology teams, ensuring a smooth integration with minimal disruption to operations. The project manager will coordinate cross-functional teams, address risks, and manage vendor relationships while delivering clear progress reporting throughout the 6-month contract.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end technology integration delivery.
- Build and manage the integration plan across applications, infrastructure, data, and security.
- Drive delivery against agreed timelines and milestones.
- Define and manage integration scope.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure alignment across multiple workstreams.
- Identify risks and issues early and escalate as needed for timely resolution.
- Manage vendors and third parties, ensuring clarity on deliverables.
- Provide clear reporting on progress, risks, and integration costs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in M&A or integration programmes.
- Strong background in technology delivery including applications, ERP, CRM, and infrastructure.
- Experience managing complex, multi-workstream programmes.
- Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and delivery levels.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across senior business and technology teams.
- Structured, delivery-focused mindset with strong planning and dependency management skills.
