Overview
The Manhattan Active WMS Consultant/SME will play a critical role in a major warehouse optimisation and transformation programme. This position involves working collaboratively with both warehouse operations and technical delivery teams to enhance and optimise the Manhattan Active Warehouse Management platform. The contractor will focus on translating business requirements, facilitating workshops, and supporting system enhancements to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Manhattan Active Warehouse Management platform.
- Collaborate with warehouse operations, supply chain, and business stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements.
- Analyse warehouse processes to identify opportunities for optimisation and continuous improvement.
- Configure and support Manhattan Active Warehouse Management solutions.
- Lead workshops with business stakeholders and facilitate requirement gathering sessions.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), go-live activities, and post-implementation hypercare.
- Deliver knowledge transfer and user support as necessary.
- Troubleshoot production issues and support API integrations, data flows, testing, releases, and deployments.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience with Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM).
- Experience configuring and supporting Manhattan Active solutions.
- Strong understanding of Manhattan Active architecture and platform capabilities.
- Experience delivering or supporting Manhattan Active implementations or optimisation programmes.
- Good understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain processes.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience facilitating workshops and supporting testing, UAT, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to bridge the gap between operational teams and technical delivery.
