We are seeking a Marketing Data Analyst on a contract basis to support a prominent consumer brand in enhancing its understanding of customer behavior and optimizing marketing performance. In this role, you will collaborate with marketing leaders to analyze complex commercial challenges and provide data-driven insights that impact acquisition and retention strategies. Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Marketing and Growth teams to address commercial challenges for customer acquisition and retention.
  • Analyze customer and campaign data to derive actionable insights and identify growth opportunities.
  • Build and maintain Looker dashboards for data-led decision-making.
  • Conduct analyses on channel performance, customer LTV, CAC, and ROAS to inform strategy and spending.
  • Evaluate performance and efficiency using marketing data sources, including CRM, referral, and paid media.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python (or R) for detailed analysis.
  • Proven experience supporting Marketing, Growth, or Performance teams in a data-centric role.
  • Expertise in Looker and BigQuery is essential.
  • Deep understanding of key marketing metrics such as CAC, LTV, Payback Period, and ROAS.
  • Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Must be based in the UK; sponsorship is not offered.
