Responsibilities

  • Select, characterise, test, and qualify materials to meet specified requirements.
  • Support product design by providing materials expertise and insights.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to enhance and optimize manufacturing techniques.
  • Validate manufacturing processes and troubleshoot material-related issues.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and specifications for materials evaluation.
  • Contribute to the development of materials for future components.

Requirements

  • Degree in Materials Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
  • Significant experience in materials engineering, preferably related to turbomachinery.
  • Strong technical knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and experience working across teams.
  • Flexible and proactive approach, able to adapt to varied engineering challenges.
