Overview
We are looking for an MHEV System Requirements Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on Powerpack Engineering. In this role, you will be responsible for defining, implementing, and validating system-level requirements for MHEV powerpacks, ensuring alignment with performance, quality, and cost objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle, providing technical support, conducting analysis, and leading reviews to drive successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Define and cascade system-level requirements to sub-system/component teams.
- Develop system logical and physical architectures, operating logic, and integration plans.
- Conduct system functional analysis to determine expected performance and functionality.
- Evaluate and harmonise multiple system design concepts for architectural integrity.
- Support system integration tests for verification and validation.
- Lead cross-functional technical reviews, integrating stakeholder inputs for optimal outcomes.
- Provide technical support for hardware/software integration and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with teams to develop and execute Design Verification Plans (DVPs).
Requirements
- Engineering knowledge of MHEV Propulsion systems and integration.
- Detailed knowledge of Hybrid & Electric Vehicle propulsion systems.
- Working knowledge of electrical engineering and battery technology.
- Experience in powertrain system and technical issue management.
- Strong background in system definition, architecture, integration, and validation.
- Proficient in data analysis tools such as INCA, Canalyzer, and Matlab.
- Experience in solving complex technical issues with a structured approach.
- Full UK Driving License required.
