Overview
We are looking for an MHEV System Validation Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and validation of MHEV propulsion systems. This role involves working collaboratively to ensure system performance through testing, as well as resolving technical issues throughout the development phases. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in both virtual and physical testing environments.
Responsibilities
- Support resolution of propulsion system issues.
- Assist with vehicle build and provide technical support for MHEV systems.
- Conduct fault diagnosis related to ICE and MHEV powerpack at the vehicle level.
- Create DVP, test cases, procedures, and requirements.
- Participate in system definition and validation activities.
- Utilize diagnostic and data analysis tools to address complex technical issues.
- Collaborate effectively across various domains and functions to manage technical issues.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or relevant field with knowledge of ICE/MHEV propulsion systems.
- Experience in hybrid and electric vehicle propulsion system integration.
- Working knowledge of electrical engineering and battery technology, including system interactions.
- Experience with powertrain system issue management.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic/data analysis tools such as INCA, Canalyzer, and Matlab.
- Structured problem-solving experience, preferably with Six Sigma or similar methods.
- Ability to build and manage internal and external relationships effectively.
- Full UK Driving Licence (class 2 or equivalent).
