Overview
We are seeking a Senior Microsoft Entra ID & Identity Consultant for a 6-month contract role focused on reviewing, redesigning, and improving a large-scale Microsoft identity environment. This position involves working at the intersection of architecture and delivery, assessing existing systems, identifying security and governance gaps, and implementing scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will address complex security challenges while contributing to the development of a robust future-state identity platform.
Responsibilities
- Review existing Entra ID and Conditional Access configurations.
- Identify security risks, policy gaps, and governance issues.
- Improve MFA and authentication controls.
- Strengthen guest access and account lifecycle management.
- Enhance joiner, mover, and leaver processes.
- Design scalable identity and access management controls.
- Support SSO adoption and application onboarding.
- Produce clear recommendations and remediation roadmaps.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD.
- Extensive experience with Conditional Access.
- Knowledge of identity governance and lifecycle management.
- Experience with MFA and authentication security.
- Familiarity with guest/B2B access management.
- Demonstrated experience with SSO, SAML, and OIDC.
- Background in Microsoft 365 security.
- Strong stakeholder and consultancy skills.
