Overview
We are looking for two experienced Microsoft Fabric Data Engineers to join a leading Managed Service Provider on 3-6 month contracts. In this remote role, you will design and implement advanced data solutions using the Microsoft Fabric platform, collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable data strategies while occasionally traveling to client sites in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of Microsoft Fabric-centric data platforms and data warehouses.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, utilizing relevant Fabric solutions.
- Ensure data integrity, quality, and governance throughout Microsoft Fabric environments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable data solutions.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing Fabric implementations for enhanced performance.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining complex data pipelines with Microsoft Fabric.
- Solid experience in data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling (dimensional, normalized).
- Strong working knowledge of Azure services, especially Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL Database.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other languages for data scripting, transformation, and automation.
