Overview
We are seeking a MIM SME/Consultant for a 6-month contract role with the possibility of extension. The consultant will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) and Forefront Identity Management (FIM) solutions, focusing on design, deployment, and maintenance activities. This position will involve collaboration with various technical teams to ensure successful integration and support for application-level security, all while working in a flexible, remote setting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and deployment of MIM/FIM solutions.
- Manage associated PowerShell scripts and maintenance activities.
- Conduct configuration and troubleshooting related to FIM/MIM and ADFS integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to ensure environment integration.
- Analyze and resolve service defects during testing phases.
- Implement best practices for MIM, including service and portal configurations.
- Document processes and changes related to MIM and FIM configurations.
Requirements
- Expertise in Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM 2016) and Forefront Identity Management (FIM 2010).
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory and AD LDS.
- Experience with identity lifecycle management and MIM synchronization engine.
- Familiarity with SQL server, including stored procedures and queries.
- Experience in scripting and automation of processes.
- Knowledge of authentication methodologies such as SSO and LDAP.
- Understanding of load balancing, failover, and disaster recovery capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with hardware, OS, DBA, and application development teams.
