Overview
We are seeking an experienced MIS Specialist or MIS Manager to lead the management and optimization of an education client's iSAMS platform. This hands-on role requires an expert with a deep understanding of iSAMS to improve data quality, develop insightful reporting, and support stakeholders across academic and operational departments. You will ensure the organization has accurate and accessible management information that aids decision-making and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the iSAMS platform to ensure it optimally supports business needs.
- Act as a subject matter expert for all aspects of iSAMS, providing guidance and best practices.
- Review current processes and identify opportunities for improving iSAMS usage.
- Maintain high standards of data quality, integrity, and governance.
- Develop and enhance reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
- Support integration of iSAMS with other systems as needed.
- Document processes and identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of iSAMS with hands-on experience in administration and development.
- Previous experience in an independent school or education environment.
- Strong SQL skills to write complex queries for large datasets.
- Experience building reports and dashboards for management information.
- Understanding of data management, quality, and governance principles.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a contract role.
