MLOps Consultant

Overview

This role is for an experienced MLOps Consultant who will focus on operationalising existing machine learning systems and developing a sustainable ML operating model. The consultant will collaborate with internal teams to assess current infrastructures and improve deployment, monitoring, and governance of machine learning initiatives, ensuring independence in platform maintenance. The position is fully remote, with potential monthly visits to London, and is tailored for candidates based in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Review existing machine learning infrastructure.
• Assess current SageMaker implementation.
• Identify technical and operational gaps.
• Design a pragmatic ML operating model.
• Establish deployment standards and processes.
• Implement monitoring and observability frameworks.
• Define governance and ownership processes.
• Create repeatable deployment workflows.

Requirements

• Proven experience in production MLOps.
• Knowledge of ML platform architecture, especially AWS and SageMaker.
• Experience with CI/CD for machine learning systems.
• Familiarity with model monitoring and observability.
• Understanding of ML lifecycle management and deployment automation.
• Experience in stakeholder management and technical consultancy.
• Background in smaller or scaling organizations.
