Overview
We are looking for a skilled Mobile Application Developer to join our team on a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and building a fully functional e-commerce mobile application that will enhance the customer experience for our retail business. This role requires collaboration with key stakeholders and autonomy in managing the project from concept to delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy a high-quality e-commerce app for iOS and Android.
- Ensure smooth integration of payment gateways and secure transactions.
- Collaborate with the Director and Office Manager to refine design, usability, and functionality.
- Work autonomously and take ownership of the project from concept to delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience in developing and publishing apps on the App Store and Google Play.
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous apps, preferably with e-commerce functionality.
- Ability to work independently and manage the full development lifecycle.
- Excellent understanding of UI/UX principles and mobile app best practices.
- Proficient in Frontend technologies such as React Native, Flutter, Swift, or Kotlin.
- Experience with Backend technologies like Node.js, Python, and database management using PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with payment integration using Stripe or PayPal and cloud hosting services such as AWS or Azure.
