Mobile Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a Mobile Engineer with expertise in React Native to develop a cross-platform mobile application for a major regulated organization in the UK. This role focuses on building dependable and accessible mobile solutions for both iOS and Android platforms, while collaborating closely with backend and design teams throughout the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will have a strong emphasis on accessibility and mobile performance and will have experience using AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship a cross-platform mobile application using React Native and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with backend and design teams to deliver features end to end.
• Ensure accessibility is prioritized throughout development.
• Optimize mobile performance and implement testing best practices.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools in day-to-day workflows.

Requirements

• Proven experience with React Native and TypeScript.
• Demonstrated ability to ship apps to the App Store and Play Store.
• Strong knowledge of mobile accessibility standards.
• Experience with mobile performance optimization and testing.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot.
• Experience in financial services or regulated app development is a plus.
