Overview
The Mobile Tech Lead will spearhead the technical direction of a large-scale mobile transformation for a technology consultancy focused on public sector digital programs. Collaborating with engineering teams, architects, and stakeholders, the contractor will shape mobile architecture while remaining hands-on with development tasks primarily for Android applications, but also engaging in discussions about iOS solutions. The role offers the chance to lead mobile capability in a high-profile project, focusing on delivering secure and scalable applications used nationally.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical direction for mobile engineering teams by providing guidance and support.
- Shape the architecture, engineering standards, and best practices for mobile applications.

Requirements
- Must hold active SC Clearance for the duration of the contract.
- Strong experience in commercial Android development (Kotlin), with familiarity in iOS (Swift/SwiftUI).
- Proven experience in designing scalable mobile architectures using models like MVVM or Clean Architecture.
- Knowledge of mobile engineering practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, and code reviews.
- Experience leading mobile engineering teams and mentoring developers effectively.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on consultancy and client engagement.
