Overview
In this contract role, the Modern Endpoint/EUC Architect will lead the design and delivery of modern endpoint and workplace solutions, focusing on technologies such as Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot. Collaborating with both clients and internal teams, the architect will assess current environments and develop comprehensive architecture and implementation strategies to enhance the operational ecosystem. The role requires a strong background in technical consulting, architecture, and hands-on implementation within complex enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and design of modern endpoint solutions for enterprise clients.
- Assess current environments and define target-state architectures and implementation roadmaps.
- Produce high-quality documentation, including design assessments and implementation plans.
- Provide technical leadership during the discovery, design, and implementation phases.
- Design secure, scalable solutions aligned with Zero Trust principles.
- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and guide technical decisions.
- Develop standards and reusable patterns to support practice development.
- Contribute to pre-sales activities through solution shaping and technical proposals.
Requirements
- Proven experience in architecting and delivering endpoint solutions for mid-market and enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and modern workplace transformation.
- Demonstrated experience in technical consulting and architecture roles, particularly in endpoint management.
- Familiarity with producing assessments, strategies, and operational architecture artifacts.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as MD-102 or SC-300, are desirable.
- Deep understanding of endpoint security and Microsoft Entra ID integration.
- Experience with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph for automation and configuration management.
- Hands-on skills in application packaging and deployment across various platforms.
