Overview
The Network Architect will lead the technical design and implementation of complex LAN/WAN solutions, ensuring robust infrastructure transitions while collaborating with project managers and delivery teams. This fully remote position requires individuals with active SC clearance, who will oversee the end-to-end architecture processes while managing technical risks and ensuring successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and governance for customer LAN/WAN solutions.
- Own low-level design and discovery activities for infrastructure transitions.
- Review and sign off high-level designs and translate them into detailed technical documents.
- Manage technical risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with internal, customer, and third-party technical teams for assurance.
- Deliver solutions aligned with quality standards and customer expectations.
- Produce detailed design documentation and manage dependencies across projects.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in designing enterprise LAN/WAN solutions.
- Strong knowledge of IP networking, routing, and switching technologies.
- Background in telecommunications, managed services, or large enterprise environments.
- Expertise in WAN technologies including MPLS, SD-WAN, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
- Familiarity with firewall platforms and network security considerations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Industry certifications such as CCNA and CCNP Enterprise.
- Experience in producing design documentation and managing technical risks.
