Overview
The role of the Objective-J / Cappuccino Engineer involves maintaining, supporting, and enhancing a large-scale enterprise application built using Objective-J and the Cappuccino Framework. The successful contractor will work fully remotely, engaging with a technology consultancy to deliver essential features and improvements for a business-critical platform. This position is suitable for those with a strong background in JavaScript development and experience in enterprise applications.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the existing enterprise application using Objective-J and the Cappuccino Framework.
- Deliver new features and improvements as required by the project.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues within the established codebase.
- Conduct debugging and problem-solving to ensure application stability.
- Support integration and compatibility with legacy enterprise technologies where necessary.
Requirements
- Commercial experience with Objective-J and the Cappuccino Framework.
- Proven background in JavaScript development.
- Experience working on large enterprise or legacy applications.
- Confidence in navigating and modifying an established codebase.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Objective-C, Cocoa, or other legacy enterprise technologies is an advantage.
