Overview
We are seeking an experienced IAM SailPoint Engineer for a fully remote contract opportunity. The contractor will work with a high-profile client to design, implement, and support SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions, collaborating closely with various teams to deliver identity and access management solutions. This role requires a skilled professional who can bring their expertise to the team and contribute to best practices within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support SailPoint IdentityIQ/Identity Security solutions.
- Develop and maintain identity lifecycle management processes, including Joiner, Mover, and Leaver workflows.
- Integrate SailPoint with enterprise applications, directories, and target systems.
- Configure provisioning, access requests, certifications, and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Work closely with security, infrastructure, and application teams to deliver IAM solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve identity and access management issues.
- Contribute to IAM best practices and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (or equivalent SailPoint platform).
- Solid understanding of IAM principles, governance, and identity lifecycle management.
- Experience integrating enterprise applications using REST APIs, LDAP, Active Directory, SQL, or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of RBAC, access governance, provisioning, and certification processes.
- Strong scripting or development skills (Java, BeanShell, PowerShell, or similar) are desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Experience working within regulated environments is desirable.
- Knowledge of Azure AD/Entra ID, Okta, or Keycloak is a plus.
