Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced Oracle Developer for a 12-month contract, offering fully remote work. This role involves collaborating with a consultancy team to convert business requirements into effective database solutions, focusing on performance optimization and automation. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the entire development life cycle and engage directly with users to ensure high-quality deliverable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain database applications using SQL and PL/SQL.
- Conduct performance analysis and tuning for optimal database efficiency.
- Create and maintain Unix Shell Scripts to support automation and improvements.
- Collaborate with business users to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Take ownership of the full development life cycle from design through to support.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in SQL and PL/SQL coding.
- Proven expertise in database application design and scalability.
- Strong capability in performance analysis and tuning.
- Solid working knowledge of Unix Shell-Scripting.
- Proficient in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience as an Oracle DBA.
- Familiarity with Oracle 19c, PDBs, and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
- Knowledge of Teradata TTU (BTEQ & TPT).
