Overview
This role offers an exciting opportunity for a Senior Oracle Developer to engage in the development and optimization of critical database systems. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, contributing to the full software development lifecycle and enhancing existing systems while supporting new data warehousing initiatives. This position aims to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability in complex Oracle-based solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust Oracle SQL and PL/SQL solutions to meet business requirements.
- Build and enhance procedures, packages, functions, cursors, and views for optimal database performance.
- Design, develop, and support Oracle Forms and Reports (10g/11g) applications.
- Assist in database development activities for Oracle 19g and data warehousing projects, ensuring data integrity and efficiency.
- Manage and monitor Oracle Jobs including creation, scheduling, and auditing for smooth operations.
- Perform query optimization and performance tuning to enhance system responsiveness.
- Participate in all phases of the SDLC from design and development through testing and deployment.
- Analyze and interpret entity relationship diagrams (ERDs) and data models to facilitate precise implementation.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.
- Proven experience with Oracle Forms and Reports (10g/11g).
- Familiarity with Oracle 19g and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience in query optimization and performance tuning.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent communication abilities.
- Capacity to work independently across the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC).
