Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Lead Developer to take charge of designing, developing, and optimizing Oracle database solutions within a dynamic team environment. This role involves collaborating with architects and stakeholders to align technical solutions with strategic objectives while mentoring junior developers and overseeing the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Your contributions will be vital in enhancing the organization's database systems and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, design, and development of Oracle database solutions.
- Develop and optimize complex PL/SQL code including procedures, packages, and views.
- Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to define technical solutions and produce Technical Design Documents (TDDs).
- Conduct code reviews and ensure quality assurance throughout the development process.
- Manage the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from design to deployment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for development teams throughout projects.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers, providing technical guidance and support.
Requirements
- Strong background in Oracle database development, particularly with Oracle 19c.
- Advanced proficiency in PL/SQL programming, including procedures, packages, functions, and views.
- Proven experience leading development efforts or managing small teams.
- Solid understanding of database design principles and performance tuning techniques.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, SVN, or PVCS.
- Experience with project management tools like JIRA and Confluence.
- Exposure to Oracle Forms/Reports, Oracle Hub, and cloud platforms such as AWS is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to produce clear technical documentation, including Technical Design Documents (TDDs).
