Overview
The Oracle ERP Finance Specialist will play a critical role in the design and implementation of the Corporate Finance solution within a public sector organization. This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance the Chart of Accounts and ensure that it meets the financial reporting and operational requirements of the organization. The successful contractor will focus on facilitating data migration and addressing technical accounting challenges in an Oracle ERP environment.
Responsibilities
- Input to design of the Corporate Finance solution focusing on technical and process aspects.
- Support the closure of design gaps related to the Chart of Accounts.
- Collaborate with program workstreams to ensure the Chart of Accounts aligns with reporting needs.
- Engage with Corporate Finance and Change teams to secure buy-in for accounting structure changes.
- Review the design aspects of Corporate Finance in areas such as Assets and Projects.
- Assist with data migration tasks including validation and reconciliation of Corporate Finance data objects.
Requirements
- Significant experience in delivering technical accounting functions within an Oracle ERP Cloud implementation.
- Experience transforming technical accounting functions from SAP ECC6 to Oracle ERP Cloud.
- Familiarity with the public sector environment is preferred.
- Ability to engage with multiple stakeholders and facilitate design discussions.
