Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle ERP Test Manager to lead testing initiatives within large-scale ERP transformation programmes on an Outside IR35 contract basis. The ideal candidate will coordinate testing activities across integrated environments and ensure quality delivery while collaborating with various stakeholders including programme leadership and technical teams in a dynamic consulting environment.
Responsibilities
- Define and deliver testing strategies, plans, schedules, and governance frameworks.
- Lead all phases of testing including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression Testing.
- Manage testing delivery across ERP implementation and upgrade programmes.
- Coordinate testing across integrated Finance, Payroll, and enterprise systems.
- Oversee defect triage, risk management, reporting, and issue resolution activities.
- Drive continuous improvement and testing best practices across delivery teams.
- Support the adoption of automation frameworks and modern testing approaches.
- Ensure testing delivery aligns with agreed client standards and programme methodologies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Test Manager within enterprise ERP transformation programmes.
- Strong experience delivering at least one full end-to-end ERP implementation lifecycle.
- Oracle ERP Cloud experience is highly desirable.
- Strong Test Management experience across Tier 1 ERP platforms like SAP, Workday, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Strong understanding of Finance and Payroll business processes.
- Expertise in test governance, defect management, and quality assurance frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working within consulting or client-facing environments is desirable.
