Overview
The Oracle ERP Test Manager will lead the testing efforts for large-scale ERP transformation programs on an Outside IR35 contract basis. This hands-on role requires a seasoned testing leader to manage complex ERP testing processes, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure quality delivery and successful business outcomes. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in either Oracle ERP Cloud or other Tier 1 ERP systems to drive testing excellence across integrated Finance and Payroll environments.
Responsibilities
- Define and deliver testing strategies, plans, schedules, and governance frameworks.
- Lead all phases of testing including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression Testing.
- Manage testing delivery across ERP implementation and upgrade programmes.
- Coordinate testing across integrated Finance, Payroll, and other enterprise systems.
- Oversee defect triage, risk management, and reporting activities.
- Review and assure quality of key testing artefacts including scripts and summary reports.
- Support the adoption of automation frameworks and modern testing approaches.
- Manage stakeholder communications and programme reporting.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Test Manager within enterprise ERP transformation programmes.
- Strong experience delivering at least one full end-to-end ERP implementation lifecycle.
- Oracle ERP Cloud experience highly desirable; alternatives include SAP, Workday, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Strong understanding of Finance and Payroll business processes.
- Expertise in test governance, defect management, and quality assurance frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working in consulting or client-facing environments is desirable.
- Exposure to test automation tools and frameworks advantageous.
