Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle ERP Test Manager to oversee the testing lifecycle for large-scale ERP transformation programmes on an Outside IR35 contract basis. The successful candidate will work closely with programme leadership, client stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure quality delivery and governance across complex, integrated environments, leveraging their expertise in ERP systems and testing methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Define and deliver testing strategies, plans, and schedules.
- Lead all phases of testing including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Manage testing across ERP implementation and upgrade programmes.
- Coordinate testing activities with Finance, Payroll, and other enterprise systems.
- Oversee defect triage and risk management activities.
- Review and assure quality of testing artefacts like scripts and logs.
- Drive continuous improvement and adoption of testing best practices.
- Manage stakeholder communications and ensure alignment with client standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Test Manager within enterprise ERP transformation programmes.
- Strong experience with full end-to-end ERP implementation lifecycles.
- Desirable Oracle ERP Cloud experience or Test Management experience with other Tier 1 ERPs like SAP or Workday.
- In-depth understanding of Finance and Payroll processes.
- Expertise in test governance and quality assurance frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working in consulting or client-facing environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks is advantageous.
