Overview
As an Oracle Fusion Payroll Test Manager, you will lead the testing strategy, planning, and execution for a significant payroll implementation and optimization project within a major UK media and entertainment organization. Working closely with senior stakeholders, systems integrators, and business teams, you will ensure the successful delivery of critical payroll capabilities while overseeing collaboration across various departments such as HR, Payroll, and Finance.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive the end-to-end testing strategy for Oracle Fusion Payroll.
- Develop detailed test plans and governance frameworks.
- Manage all phases of testing, including SIT, UAT, and payroll parallel runs.
- Coordinate testing activities across business, HR, Payroll, Finance, and technology teams.
- Ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements and payroll legislation.
- Oversee defect management processes and reporting.
- Provide regular updates to programme leadership and stakeholders.
- Lead test readiness assessments and support go-live planning activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Test Manager on Oracle Fusion HCM programmes.
- Strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Payroll testing.
- Demonstrable experience in payroll transformation projects in large, complex organizations.
- Solid understanding of payroll processes, controls, and compliance requirements.
- Experience managing SIT, UAT, and end-to-end payroll testing cycles.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in large program environments and matrix organizations.
- Desirable knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM broader modules and experience in media or entertainment sectors.
