Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced Oracle Fusion Finance Test Consultant to join a dedicated implementation team. This contract role involves delivering comprehensive end-to-end testing and supporting users through crucial UAT phases until project completion. The consultant will work closely with various stakeholders, including third-party vendors, to ensure seamless integration and efficient test execution.
Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end test script creation, execution, defect logging, and tracking to resolution using Jira and Xray.
- Ensure full, meticulous linking of test cases to business requirements within the test management toolset.
- Collaborate and coordinate with the System Integrator, third-party vendors, and internal business resources to test complex E2E integrations and interfaces.
- Provide expert guidance to Business Analysts and end-users during UAT execution, managing defect lifecycles and ensuring smooth testing progress.
- Provide technical inputs into daily progress reports, proactively highlighting risks, issues, or blockers.
- Actively participate in defect triage sessions and provide specialized support across all testing workstreams as required by the project schedule.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of professional testing experience, with 5–7 years focused on Oracle Fusion / ERP Finance implementations.
- Deep understanding of core Oracle Finance process areas, including AP, AR, GL, FA, and CM.
- Proficient in utilizing Jira and advanced test management plug-ins, preferably Xray.
- Proven ability to operate autonomously, managing workload and deliverables with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of bridging the gap between technical vendors and non-technical business users.
