OT Solution Architect

Overview

The OT Solution Architect will engage in the assessment and design of replacement solutions for existing radio communication links and associated operational technology (OT) equipment. This role requires significant travel to client sites and focuses on ensuring that all technical solutions are aligned with operational needs while addressing resilience and cybersecurity requirements. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in OT communications, particularly in brownfield environments, collaborating closely with various stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys to validate current-state deployments and identify constraints.
• Assess OT interfaces, dependencies, and communication requirements across existing links.
• Define fit-for-purpose replacement solutions, including radio, cellular, or alternative communications technologies.
• Produce implementable designs that align with operational, resilience, and cyber security requirements.
• Support FAT/SAT activities, commissioning, implementation, and resolution of site-specific issues.

Requirements

• Strong experience within OT environments and industrial communications.
• Proven experience designing site-specific solutions in brownfield environments.
• Good understanding of telemetry, RTUs, PLC interfaces, and OT communication networks.
• Experience within utilities or other critical infrastructure sectors is highly desirable.
