Overview
The OutSystems Developer will play a crucial role in delivering innovative low-code digital solutions for enterprise clients. This fully remote position will involve designing, developing, and deploying scalable applications on the OutSystems platform, while collaborating closely with UX, product, and backend teams. The contractor will be expected to contribute to the development of a business-critical platform within a technology agency setting.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive web and mobile applications using OutSystems (Reactive and Traditional Web).
- Integrate OutSystems applications with APIs, external data sources, and enterprise systems.
- Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues throughout the development lifecycle.
- Optimise application performance and ensure high-quality user experiences.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and recommend technical improvements.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with OutSystems development (Reactive Web, Traditional Web, and Mobile).
- Solid understanding of low-code architecture, data modelling, and application lifecycle management in OutSystems.
- Experience integrating with REST/SOAP APIs and external databases.
- Knowledge of OutSystems Service Studio, Integration Studio, and Lifetime.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- OutSystems certification (Associate or Professional Developer) is desirable.
- Experience with JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, and modern front-end practices is a plus.
- Exposure to DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, and cloud environments (Azure/AWS) is advantageous.
